General Terms and Conditions of Business and Carriage

This translation is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope

These terms apply to all passenger and courier rides of Aargauer Taxi GmbH, Zürcherstrasse 46, 5210 Windisch (hereinafter "we"), that are requested and confirmed via the website, by phone or via a business account.

2. Conclusion of contract

A request made via the website or by phone constitutes an offer by the customer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the ride (by e-mail, SMS or phone). The confirmation contains a booking number, the agreed time and a cost estimate or quote.

3. Services

We transport people who can travel seated in a standard vehicle, as well as consignments as part of our courier service. We are not an emergency medical service and provide no medical care. For patient and escort rides, the liability notes also apply.

4. Prices

Prices are based on the applicable tariff or on an individual quote that we state before the ride. Possible additional costs (waiting time not agreed in advance, a surcharge of CHF 5.00 for luggage not declared in advance or similar, additional intermediate stops, rides outside the core region) are stated in advance. 5. Payment

Private customers: means of payment to be set before publication (cash, card, TWINT). Business clients with a business account: consolidated monthly invoice, payment term to be set before publication days net. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to charge reminder fees and default interest within the statutory limits; amounts to be set before publication.

6. Waiting time and no-show

Agreed waiting times are included in the confirmation. Waiting time not agreed in advance is charged according to the tariff. If the passenger does not appear at the agreed location and cannot be reached, the ride is deemed not taken after 15 minutes; the cancellation terms apply.

7. Cancellation and changes

Cancellations and changes are free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time: online via the cancellation form with the booking number, by phone or via WhatsApp. For shorter notice or a no-show, a handling fee may be charged; details in the cancellation terms.

8. Obligations of passengers

Passengers comply with the traffic rules (seat belts must be worn), behave in a way that allows the ride to be carried out safely, and declare luggage and mobility aids when making the request. In the event of exceptional soiling of the vehicle, we charge for cleaning according to the effort involved.

9. Courier rides

The client describes the consignment accurately. Excluded are dangerous goods, valuables without prior agreement, and medicines and medical samples without a previously agreed process. We hand over in person and document the handover. Liability for consignments is limited to CHF to be set before publication per consignment, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Liability

We are liable in accordance with the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR). We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, official orders or force majeure, insofar as we are not responsible for them. We give no guarantee for connections (flights, trains); we plan the pick-up time together with the customer.

Our privacy policy applies.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Aargauer Taxi GmbH.
