What is the drive-home service?
The Aargauer Taxi drive-home service is for evenings when you would rather not, or may not, drive yourself but still want your car to get home. Two drivers come to you: driver A drives you home in your own car, driver B follows in the taxi and then picks driver A up again. You receive the price in advance as a quote.

- Please book as early as possible. At short notice it only works if two drivers happen to be free; please call us directly.
- You receive the price as a quote. It depends on the route, the time and the drive out of both drivers.
- Your car must be roadworthy and insured for other drivers. You receive the terms on insurance and liability with the quote.
- Please mention anything special, such as an electric car or a trailer, in your request.
- We are not a medical service. We help you get in and out as on every ride.

They follow you in the taxi. At your home, driver A gets into the taxi and both drive on.
How the drive home works
Five steps from your request to your parked car.

- Quote and confirmationWe check the route and availability and give you the price. The ride becomes binding with our confirmation.
- HandoverBoth drivers arrive in the taxi. You hand over the key and we take a quick look at your car together.
- Drive homeDriver A drives you in your car, driver B follows in the taxi.
- HomeCar parked in the agreed place, key returned. Both drivers continue in the taxi.

Whenever you would rather not, or may not, drive yourself and do not want to leave your car behind.

After a celebration, a wedding or a dinner with wine, your car does not have to stay out overnight.

After the company dinner or Christmas party. For several drives home on the same evening, please ask early.

After an examination or procedure after which you must not drive, for example because of sedation or eye drops.

Your car is parked at the station or the airport, and you arrive late and tired.
